AQUATICS

At Camp Kef, our goal is to help every camper feel confident and safe in the water. Campers participate in a combination of instructional and free swim, led by certified lifeguards using the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim curriculum. Instructional swim focuses on building essential water safety skills and swimming techniques, while free swim gives campers the opportunity to practice their skills, build confidence, and have fun with friends in a supervised setting. All swim takes place in our outdoor pool and is weather dependent.

  • Keflet Unit (Infant–2 years old): Campers enjoy water play activities every day that are designed to help them feel comfortable and have fun in the water.

  • K’Ton Ton Unit (Ages 3–4): These campers have instructional swim at least two days a week and free swim on the remaining days of the week in the baby pool.

  • Gan and up (Kindergarten-10th Grade): Campers swim in the big pool and participate in both instructional swim and free swim everyday throughout the week.

The Kaiserman JCC and our Aquatics programming are generously supported by Aqua, an Essential Utilities Company, and its Aqua Sure Splash program.

MAJORS

Our Majors Program is an elective-based experience designed for campers entering 4th–10th grade, where choice, creativity, and exploration take center stage. Each week, campers select from a variety of exciting options—typically including an art, sports, and a specialized activity—all taught by talented local partners. Campers dive into their chosen Major for a double period, giving them a truly immersive and engaging experience. Every week brings new opportunities and fresh choices, so there’s always something different to discover! Majors pre-selection opens in early June, and some options may have limited space—so stay tuned!

Camp Activities

At Camp Kef, every day is filled with fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities designed to inspire creativity, encourage active play, and keep campers excited to come back for more! Our talented Activity Specialists lead a wide variety of experiences including arts & crafts, swimming, music, sports, games, theater, archery,  Taekwondo and more!

Campers also enjoy special guest programs throughout the summer, such as puppet shows, reptile encounters, petting zoos, and more!

Every Wednesday brings Yom Kef Kef, a camp-wide celebration featuring bounce houses and inflatable water slides—a weekly favorite! Plus, we host exciting all-camp events like themed days, carnivals, and color wars that bring our whole community together for unforgettable moments. At Camp Kef, no two days are the same—and every day is full of joy, discovery, and connection!

New Specialty Camps

Specialty Camps are designed to provide an immersive and enriching experience beyond the traditional camp setting. This summer, alongside our beloved Camp Kef, we are introducing an incredible specialty camp!
