Sports Camp is the perfect place for kids to get active and have fun while exploring new skills on the court and field. Each week focuses on a different sport. Campers will enjoy a mix of skills, drills, and practices designed to build confidence and teamwork, all in a supportive environment that welcomes beginners and seasoned players alike.

About Sports Camp: Each day begins with songs and cheers, followed by sports drills, techniques and matches leading up to lunch. Afternoons are filled with camp activities inspired by the sport of the week. Sports Camp takes place just a few miles away at Barrack Hebrew Academy with identical drop-off and pick-up times. At Barrack we will be able to use all of their state-of-the-art fields, courts, and equipment. While swimming isn’t part of the program, the day is packed with engaging activities, including crafts and camp games, to ensure a balance of active athletic learning and classic camp fun! Campers also have the option to purchase a hot lunch from Nana's Kitchen. Aftercare is also available with included transportation back to the JCC.

Sports camp is lead by our Camp Kef favorite coach, Coach Ryan of Black Rock Middle School. Coach Ryan will work alongside Coach Stef Thompson, JBHA Boys Basketball Head Coach, John Waraksa, longtime travel soccer coach and director, and Andrew Shoemaker to lead an immersive sport experience.

Sports Camp is designed for kids who are interested in athletics and eager to try something new, regardless of their level of experience. Here, kids can try a variety of games and activities in a supportive, low-pressure environment. It’s the perfect place to build confidence, stay active, and make new friends! Please note that you may register for 1, 2 or all 3 weeks of sports camp. Your camper may sign up for more camp weeks and rejoin the rest of Camp Kef at the JCC location for the beginning or remainder of the summer.
